Clinic Times by Age Group:

What is the price to play?
To register your child for basketball, just click on the Register button on the paasports.com website.
Online Registration starts on 09/25/2024!
If you are a returning PAA family, sign in with your existing account information.
If you are a new PAA family, create a new account by clicking on the Register button on the PAA website homepage
(If you are signing up multiple players, you just need to create one account for your family)
Once you have signed in, update or add your child's information and the basketball team for your child will be listed. Then you can complete the registration process.
When are payments due for the season?
You may pay in full or choose a spilt payment during time of registration. If choosing a split payment the second half must be paid in full by Nov. 8th
Will there be separate leagues for boys and girls? The teams will be co-ed
What ages can play basketball? Ages 6-18. Six (6) year old players MUST be six prior to December 31
Per the CHESTERFIELD BASKETBALL LEAGUE Playing Rules and Provisions Document:
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Any player shall be eligible to play who has reached the age of Six (6) by December 31, 2023 and has not reached the age of NINETEEN (19) prior to the end of the Senior Division Season.
Division Eligibility - Age brackets are as follows:
A. Rookie – 6 Years, 7 Years or 8 Years.
B. Tiger- 8 Years Old and under, 6 year- old players ineligible for this Division.
C. Cub - 9 Years and under
D. Bear – 10 Years and under.
E. Minor - 11 Years and under.
F. Nets – 12 Years and under
G. Intermediate - 13 Years and under.
H. Junior - 15 Years and under.
I. Senior - 18 Years and under. (Must not turn 19 before the end of the season)
When do practices start? Where will they be held and when?
Schedule will come out in Mid- October
How many games? Games usually start the first week of January, and go through the middle of March
Rookie league has 4 clinics and 8 regular season games with no playoffs.
All other leagues have 10 regular season games and playoffs.
Who are the coaches? We are looking for additional basketball coaches for all teams! Without coaches, we won't be able to have basketball teams!
- All volunteers must pass a background check (https://www.chesterfield.gov/1436/Coaches-Background-Check)
- All volunteers must take a concussion class (https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html)
- All first-year coaches must attend a mandatory clinic on playing rules and requirements.
