Are you looking for coaches and other volunteers this year?

Great question!  And absolutely!
We are always in need of coaches, team parents and other volunteers to help with the concession stand at games, fundraising and lots of other activities.

We're also looking for junior coaches! So if you know of a teenager who'd like to assist with coaching our football teams, we could definitely use their assistance! And it's a great way for them to earn volunteer hours!

So please let us know if you would like to help! PAA is a volunteer organization, and we definitely need all of our parents to participate and assist in order to be successful.

June 8, 2024

Good morning PAA Families!
My name is Sergio Birch (Coach B), and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Football Director for the Providence Athletic Association.

As we embark on a new season, I am filled with excitement and confidence that this will be a season for the ages. Our commitment to providing the best experience for our young athletes is unwavering, and we have made significant enhancements to our program to ensure this.

We have undertaken a comprehensive revamping of our coaching staff, bringing on board some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable coaches in the field. These individuals are not only experts in the game but are also passionate about fostering a positive, supportive, and fun environment for our players. Their commitment to excellence and development will ensure that our kids receive the best coaching available. We also have openings for additional coaches. If you are interested, please contact me directly at the number listed below.

As participants in our organization, you deserve nothing but the best. Your trust and involvement are invaluable to us, and we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for your continued support. We believe that our kids deserve the best coaching, deserve to have fun and be safe. So, we have implemented stringent safety protocols and are continually seeking ways to enhance the overall experience for both players and parents.

This season, we are committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive, learn, and enjoy the game of football!

To this end, here is some important information about this upcoming season:

  • Registration will open June 15th!
  • We will have one flag team (7U) and one minor team (9U)
  • We will be holding weekly football clinics in June and July, with the purpose being to ensure readiness and team camaraderie. (hosted in part by Coach B)
  • Practices will start on August 5th. Location and time are being determined, but we'll keep you posted!

Communication will also be key as we continue to go forward! So please expect a call from me in the next few days to address your questions, concerns and ideas for this season.

Thank you once again for your dedication and support. We look forward to seeing our young athletes grow, succeed, and most importantly, have fun on the field. Let’s make this season truly unforgettable. We can't do it without each and every one of you! Go Bears!

Warm regards,
Sergio Birch
