Welcome to Providence Baseball!
2025 Spring Season
Welcome to Providence Baseball.
We are excited to welcome all of our new and returning players for the Spring 2025 season.
Youth Baseball (and sports in general) offer not only the opportunity to learn very valuable life lessons like working with others in a team setting, and the value of setting goals and working hard toward achieving them, but also offer many young athletes their first opportunity to be a part of a team and develop long lasting friendships, with the beauty of it is it’s all through the fun experience of playing a game.
Spring baseball runs from the first week March through mid-June. Practices will start the week of March 3rd, with games starting the week of April 7th right after spring break, and the playoffs carrying over possibly into the middle of June. There will also be various all-star teams that athletes can try out for, with tournaments going through the end of July.
Important Update for 2025!!
The age division cutoff date changed in 2023 to April 30th of the current year.

Volunteers
Interested in helping out? We have many opportunities for you to find a spot in our organization. PAA is a volunteer run organization and we welcome any and all help from our parents and community to help us offer the best possible experience to our athletes.
Coaches: we are always in need of coaches and assistants. There is no experience necessary as we have some great people in place to help support our coaches in instruction and running practices. This year we will also partner with a local facility to have a coach's seminar. This will be a chance for all of our coaches to learn current and new coaching strategies on how to best instruct young players in the fundamentals for baseball, and also how to best organize practices to make sure that our athletes are learning these fundamentals in a way that keeps them engaged and most importantly keeps them having fun so that they look forward to practice and games. This means there is no better time than now to get involved as a coach to help your young athlete than now.
Team Parents: our team parents are the heart and soul of our teams. As a team parent you will be helping with the organization of team socials during the season, managing the post-game treats and activities, and helping with the planning and preparation of our end of the year banquet.
Score keepers: This year the CBC is moving to gamechanger as a way of managing the league, so we need volunteers for every team to run app for us. We will teach everyone how to do it, but it isn’t very hard and it’s a great way to help out our team (and get the best seat in the house right behind the backstop).

Please feel free to email us at [email protected]
Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing you all out there this Spring!
GO BEARS!
