How old does my child have to be to cheer?

How much does cheering with PAA cost?
Each family must pay a yearly dues fee to PAA, a cheer registration fee and the fees for a new uniform:
Flag, Minor, Junior and Senior Squads:
(PAA Yearly Fee Begins in Winter - All Families are required to pay this fee)
$20 PAA dues
$80 Cheer Registration
$130 Required Cheer Uniform for all NEW players (includes hair bow, V-neck liner, vest, skirt, boy shorts, and socks)
Total = $230
Optional Uniform items:
$50 Personalized warm up jacket
$50 Personalized warm up pants
$20 Personalized cheer bag
How do I sign up my child for cheering?
Online cheer registration starts on 10/15/2023
On our paasports.com website, click on the Register button. Add your child's information to your account, then you should see the correct cheer squad available for signups.
There is one additional form that need to be filled out during the season. You can either download and fill it out and get them back to the cheer directors at the first practice, or we will have forms available at practice

When are payments due for the season?
A non-refundable fee of $15 will be due at time of Registration. Then we will collect check, cash and money order payments for the remaining balances in early December
What is the practice schedule? Where will practices be held? When do games start?
Practices will start on Tuesday, November 14th for the Flag squad.
Practices will start on Thursday, November 16th for the Minor and Junior squad
Both practices will be held in the Providence Middle School Auxiliary Gym from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
The schedule for remaining practices for the season is still getting worked out, and we will update our PAA Cheer Families as soon as we do!
All basketball game schedules are determined by the Chesterfield Basketball League, but in the past games started in Early Jan.
Are you looking for cheer coaches and other volunteers this year?
Great question! And absolutely!
We are always in need of cheer coaches, team parents and other volunteers to help with the concession stand at games, fundraising and lots of other activities.
We're also looking for junior coaches! So if you know of a teenager who'd like to assist with coaching our cheer squads, we could definitely use their assistance! And it's a great way for them to earn volunteer hours!
So please let us know if you would like to help! PAA is a volunteer organization, and we definitely need all of our parents to participate and assist in order to be successful.
